Your Step-By-Step Guide To Creating Your Own Holiday Sale
This month I am throwing in an extra free training as I think the extended upcoming 4th of July weekend is the perfect opportunity for you to easily launch your own online holiday sale.
I'm confident this strategy will make you a good amount of money!
Depending on when you read this, you'll want to do your best to follow the campaign timeline as close as possible. It's important that you build interest and engagement well before you launch the sale.
This will significantly increase the likelihood that the people you are emailing will:
- Have a chance to read the emails before the sale starts
- To be engaged and interested in the sale
- To make a mental note that the sale is coming so they save disposable income to spend at your sale
- They look for your emails when the sale begins AND they buy from you!
OK, let's get started!
Step 1: Watch The Video Tutorial And Make Sure To Read The Instructions Below
The tutorial video covers additional details not written within this blog post.
Step 2: The Holiday Sale

We are going to sell one item each day beginning on July 1st through July 4th. That is 4 total products I suggest that you create an offer for and launch only one per day to your list.
Note: If you do not have multiple products for sale you can launch one product and offer it for sale over the extended weekend.
Each product you offer for sale will not expire each day so the sale will actually build with a new product each day the sale continues.
Step 3: The Pre-Sale
Now that you understand this first component of the sale I am going to now discuss the Pre-Sale Offer. We are going to offer one item for sale on June 30th to anyone in your list that opted in to your offer for them to receive early bird access to an exclusive pre-sale.
This pre-sale is available only to those who actually take action in your email and click on the link within the email to be included in the pre-sale.
Using this strategy, you will be rewarding those who are most engaged in your list and instantly providing value for their engagement with you.
Those who take no action are not included in the pre-sale but are included in the standard sale that launches on July 1st.
Does that make sense to you?
We are rewarding your subscriber base whom take action and engage with you by granting them access to an exclusive sale item one day before the sale launches.
Step 4: The Sale Closing Day
OK, now that we are on the same page with that part, let's circle back to the sale closing day on July 5th.
On July 5th we are going to send an email that includes all the same items and offers from the previous days. This email will be an all-inclusive list of offers with notice that all these items on sale expire at midnight on July 5th.
The people who opted in to the Pre-Sale (and are the most likely to buy from you based on their engagement with this sale sequence) will not see anything new.
The probably majority of the list who did NOT opt-in to the Pre-Sale will see a new item for sale on July 5th. That new item will be placed at the top of the email and will be the Pre-Sale item you offered on June 30th.
Step 5: Writing Your Email Copy
Now that you understand the entire flow of creating your holiday sale, let's quickly cover what you should write in each of the emails.
Below is the list and dates of the emails I suggest you send for this funnel:
